MAST at the Career Fair | 3rd Aerospace Engineering Days

MAST took part in the Career Fair held during the 3rd Aerospace Engineering Days at the University of Minho (Campus de Azurém, Guimarães). The event brought together students, graduates, and key players from the aerospace sector through talks, workshops, and a dedicated employment fair designed to strengthen connections between academia and industry.

Throughout the day, we had the chance to present our current projects and explain how our departments work in parallel to turn student engineering into real flight hardware. We also shared how joining MAST helps students gain hands-on experience in structures, avionics, propulsion, project management, among others, while building strong teamwork and leadership skills.

The Career Fair featured 15 entities from across the aerospace ecosystem, creating a strong networking environment for students and recent graduates looking for internships, projects, or first job opportunities.

For us, being present at this fair was also about community: meeting future members, reconnecting with partners, and reinforcing MAST’s mission to represent the University of Minho in an international context, showing what student teams can achieve when given the tools, time, and support.
