Meet DAEDALUS Team!

DAEDALUS held its first General Meeting, marking the team’s first official gathering and aligning members with the goals and working structure for the year.

The session welcomed 51 students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Industrial Electronics and Computer Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Applied Statistics. This multidisciplinary composition reflects the technical breadth required to design, develop, and validate a complete rocket system.

During the meeting, new members were formally introduced to the structure of the team, its internal departments, and the overall mission for the upcoming year. The leadership presented the long-term vision of the project, outlining key technical objectives, major milestones, and the roadmap toward competition readiness.

Beyond strategic planning, the session also focused on operational organization. Responsibilities were assigned, departments were reinforced, and members were integrated into their respective technical and support teams. Expectations regarding collaboration, workflow, communication channels, and deliverables were clearly defined to ensure alignment across all areas of the project.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion session, encouraging active participation and reinforcing the team’s culture of shared responsibility and continuous learning.

This first General Meeting laid the foundation for a structured and coordinated development process, setting the tone for a year of technical growth, teamwork, and innovation in the pursuit of advancing DAEDALUS’ rocketry objectives.
