MAST Selected for the European Rocketry Challenge 2026

Minho Aerospace Students’ Team is thrilled and incredibly proud to announce that Project DAEDALUS has been officially accepted into the European Rocketry Challenge 2026.

Securing a spot in this prestigious competition has been our primary goal since the formation of the team, and seeing this vision turn into reality is a monumental milestone for MAST.

The organization selected only 25 teams from more than 60 applications across Europe. Being chosen among some of the most established university rocketry teams on the continent recognizes the hard work, competence, and dedication our members have demonstrated over the past months.

The launchpad is set, but the real work accelerates now. From today until October, our team will work tirelessly to transition from digital CAD files and simulations to manufacturing, rigorous testing, and full system integration.

We are ready to face the intense months ahead, push our engineering boundaries, and make this opportunity count.
